November has definitely crept upon us – a glorious colourful October and now it seems it’s a race to a certain event beginning with “C”….. Barbara has taken off to the International Office in Spain for a few weeks with more stitching projects than you can imagine and Chris is rushing between teaching classes at The Corner Patch and getting a million and nine important garden tasks ticked off the list. Over on the Doodles page there is a whole new block and quilt settings for this month – we were feeling a little gloomy when putting this page together so it’s mostly greyscale to match our mood! Obviously more caffeine is required….
The quilt-to-colour page has taken a little longer to arrive . . . but thanks to plenty of caffeine and cake at the Bradley Quilts & More Show over the weekend Chris has got her act together and done one. You can download it here. Don’t forget that you can print it out as many times as you like – you may want to with this one as, although it looks a bit ho-hummish (is that a word? – Barbara), once you start colouring those squares you can find all sorts of entertaining patterns.
By way of a bit of colour inspiration (as if you needed it!) here’s a picture from a couple of months ago of a Canna bought as a bargain ‘dead’ plant – amazing what a new pot, compost and a bit of water can do. The plant equivalent of caffeine and cake perhaps?!
