A busy week ahead – sleeves to attach to quilts, information labels to concoct, demo stuff to collect up, brochures and worksheets to print – all the usual pre-class and pre-show tasks. So Barbara decided to get some start-up work done for our February class, when we’ll be guiding everyone through the piecing, quilting and binding of a simple small quilt. In the best traditions the start was made courtesy of fabrics left over from a Grandson project, so the finished sample will look very different to Barbara’s usual style (you mean dull and dreary? Chris). After only a couple of hours it was going really well and the binding is now being attached.
