Try these tutorials

One of the absolute best things about the parallel universe of blogland is all the inspiration and information that is so readily available – we really could spend every day following links, blogroll lists and generally having fun.  Here are links to two tutorials that have recently caught our eye –

Magnolia Bay Quilts – an inspiring take on 60 degree triangles which has our fingers itching to start cutting and stitching

The Quilt Rat – a very clear tutorial on the all-important business of starting and finishing threads for machine quilting

And, on a completely different note, but equally important especially if you take your machine, travel iron and/or worklight to classes – Angie over at Angie Quilts has organised very affordable PAT testing service as part of this week’s Caverswall Quilt Cave activities.  If you live within hailing distance this would make even more reasons to take part in a great quilty day.
