1,000 Pyramids – or fun with triangles

An excellent low-key day on Saturday messing around  cutting and constructing 60degree triangles in all sorts of arrangements.  There was also cake (not sure if it was an incentive or a hindrance) and plenty of tea and coffee to keep fluid levels up.  Everyone agreed that the construction was MUCH easier and faster than they had thought and you can see from the photos that we had a lot of fun moving things around and exploring some of the possibilities …

Kate’s setting of her Pyramid units (above) was probably the hit of the day, we all wanted to make our own version!   Here’s the traditional happy class pic taken at the end of a very productive day

  1. Great fun and you made it so easy. I keep moving mine around on my design wall. I loved all the variety that appeared, not just in fabric but in actual placement.
