Met up with Ann Jermey at Pollyanna Patchwork on Friday (coffee and cake day) and kidnapped her for the afternoon. As Ann had already travelled some distance from home in Bridgnorth it seemed a shame not to go a little further, with our cameras, and visit the Dorothy Clive Garden. After an excellent lunch we wandered up and down the paths through the quarry garden admiring the azaleas and rhododendrons, then on to the gravel gardens and the laburnum walk for different colour before sauntering gently back to the car through the borders and scree garden via the pond – with damselflies.
All of which probably explains why Chris has pulled these fabrics from her stash today …
Now all that needs to be done is to sit back and wait for these fabrics to magically transform themselves into something wonderful ….?
We’re off to ZigZags in Newport today to collect a basket of fat quarters for our next two Saturday classes – Start to Finish on June 4th and Kaleidoscope on June 18th. More inspiration (and coffee) along the way!
