We’ve just had news of an online sale at Oakshott Fabrics – their highly popular end of season warehouse sale was affected by the Great British Weather, so they’ve decided to put it online instead. If, like us, you just can’t resist their quality, colours and all-round yumminess, the sale runs from now until 20th December – perfect for a Christmas present to yourself!
An early reminder about the Nantwich Fabric Sale – Sunday 23 January is the date to put in your 2011 diary. This time there will be an even wider range of traders, demonstrators and exhibits and we don’t have to remind you about the excellent bacon butties! It’s always a good day out with lots of great bargains and a very warm atmosphere – doors open at 10am.
And another forward date for your diary – Angie Whiston is giving a presentation of her quilts and quilting life on Wednesday 19 January at Caverswall Village Hall. Full details are on her blog sidebar, but if you are within travelling distance this will be well worth a visit – her ever-expanding travelling shop may also be present.
Coffee and cupcakes will continue to feature every Friday at Pollyanna Patchwork – there’s often a demo and an informal quilting “surgery” as well as the delights of the shop, and Eccleshall has enough other interesting retail and places for lunch if you needed further entertainment or justification for your visit.
As for Chris & Barbara dates – our evening classes start on Wednesday 26th January (we could just squeeze a couple more folks in), and our Starter for Nine class at Tittensor on Saturday 29 January has only 2 places left. Further info, needs lists, booking forms and all those other good things available on our website http://www.chrisandbarbara.co.uk.
