Reversible runners class

Still cold in Staffordshire but, unlike last week, the indoor temperature at The Station in Stone was warm and welcoming.  With a small (but very select) group of students there was an exceptionally relaxed atmosphere (was it the cake?) but everyone worked hard and had a sample block plus enough completed blocks for a runner by the end of the day.  We looked in particular at quilt as you go, joining techniques and touched on just a few of the possibilities of fully assembling and quilting one block at a time.

Everyone was so engrossed in what they were doing that we had the shortest lunch break ever – Barbara turned round to pick up her mug of tea and found that lunch had been and gone and work was resumed.  All too soon it was time to pack away before our favourite caretaker Greg (accompanied by the Mighty Beast) arrived and we declared an end to a happy (and warm) day.
