Lost in a Log Cabin

In between sorting out class samples and worksheets for Wednesday and Saturday’s classes Chris has temporarily disappeared in a whirlwind of domestic action.  Her original plan was to move along with her current Log Cabin quilt, but having played with various block settings and border fabric options she decided to gather it all back up and put it down in her sewing room and walk away.  Too many choices!  Which is where the domestic part comes in as displacement activity.  This is a quilt that was started about this time last year, hence the autumnal feel to the colours, and has done excellent service for our evening classes to illustrate some of the many layouts of the traditional Log Cabin block.   Problem was, everyone liked all the layouts and it was very hard making the final decision.
